Actually, I've prepared a little story that establishes a couple shared points of background between the party members.

Story is posted to the main page. If you still want to post here, please do so in the context of the established background.

My character, Pon Farr, aged much faster than the other orphans did, and that grew within him hate and anger as most of the other ones made him an outcast. A few were tolerant of him, and they stopped the others when it got out of hand. Then the star fell and hit the orphange, in which only he and the others made it out. When he found this out, he felt no remorse or sympathy towards the ones who hurt him, and was the only one who kept his tears inside him. Someone noticed this, and followed some logic that eventually made the village think that he was the reason that the star fell. Thus, he and the other surviviors were thrown into the secret room...

Pon Farr is 14 years old, just hitting adulthood for a half-orc. He looks more human than orc, but that doesn't stop some of his more orc-ish traits from showing physically. His jaw is broad, while his forehead is wide and furrowed. His orc traits manifest more in the mental and emotional form, and he lets his anger get the best of him. When he rages, he becomes something much more feral than most people can even think of.

He became a barbarian due to it being a natural outlet for his pent-up anger, and he remembers the way he was treated at the orphanage to go into a rage, citing a few incidents each time he goes into it, like "Don't harm Mr. Bubbles!" or "Give me a purple-nurple, will you?"

To keep his place in the orphanage (before it burned down), he would go out and hunt animals, take their meat, and bring it back to sell to traders and villagers alike. While his methods of killing animals may not have been the best, his tracking skill is unquestioned.
